Excellent post. I always wondered what is involved in having to have a youtube video ranked higher in google. I got the asnwer. What about the views? I've heard people say that the more views you go the better ranking it will achieve...is this true?

Great informative piece, I had to digg it - I have watched many marketers struggle with video positioning while others have wild success without trying. youtube insight is a neat tool but unfortunately not the perfect keyword research tool for youtube. The info that you receive from youtube insight only applies to your video. Therefore, I've been looking for a while for a keyword research tool that has direct access to youtube's database. Search engine keyword tools are useful but what people search on youtube can be totally different from regular search engine.
If anyne knows of a service that researches from youtube I would love to know.
