I'm one of the founders of sk*rt, and we are thrilled at how this has taken off. And actually, we haven't done anything at all to get the word out...except send an email out to friends and family Monday morning when we offically went live. That is it. People have told people (or posted something) and it has grown beyond our own belief in just a few short days (talk about proof of concept!). And yes, you make a great point about the "bury" option. That was on our list of things to do (along with upgrading to a managed, dedicated server) before it took off. We just had no idea we'd go from 0-60 in so few seconds. Awesome! Thanks for your patience (and ideas) and more is in the works.

Re: Looking Up Sk*rt – Digg for Women

Lyndon -

It's quite an active community already and hopefully it will stay pretty targeted within this powerful demographic.

So far, I like sk*rt.

Re: Looking Up Sk*rt – Digg for Women

Interesting, I have a few sites that would like exposure to this demographic.

It's fascinating to watch the fragmentation of social voting and observing which ones work and which ones don't.
