10e20: Is There a Disconnect Between Your Business and Its Website?

Great post! I see this a lot with our clients where someone will want the most gorgeous website and their office will be very dated and in disrepair or the reverse, where someone will have an incredibly beautiful and modern office and won't want to spring for a nice website.
Not a new topic, but a great real world analogy that tells the story well. Just wondering though, where's the snark??? ;)

Light on the snark today--sometimes I tone it down when I'm busy with actual work. :P

@Rebecca,
So how would do u see the site design of 10e20 correlating to the actual business/office? :)

It'd probably have big hair and be littered with poop jokes.

Hey Rebecca,
Lisa posted only about the site but you took a step further and put your feet in the restaurant. Its great, sometimes our site does not reflect our business infrastructure.
BTW, What have you ate over there?

I ate a bacon gorgonzola burger, a root beer float, and skinny fries with rosemary sea salt. :)

That website was nutty (can't stand it when websites automatically open up with audio of any sort)...Even if they were chic and trendy, as they tried to convey, I'm not so sure I would have visited based on the fact their website made my eyeballs nearly explode!
I get the point of the post and it's an excellent one...I bet you thought you were about to have a burger from the 22nd century based on that website. Glad the food was good at least!
